A New Map! & The Map Issue

First of all:

I´m really sorry that the 2nd and 3rd map were buggy to unplayable.After a long and hard decission session, I decided to take the 2nd and 3rd map offline and "under construction".I will rather concentrate on locations more known to professional ghost hunters.

New Difficulty Settings! &

The Difficulty Issue

Finding the right difficulty for this game is very hard.
So I decided some months ago to make custom difficulty settings.

This process and progress as turned every concept of my previous game design upside down and inside out.

Im proud to present know:

Customizable Difficulty and Camera counts.

Players can now choose between 3 difficulty settings: Easy, Medium and Hard.
These settings chance the spawn behaviour of anomalies and give you a higher reward for a bigger risk.
Players also can now choose how many rooms to surveiliance. Giving them the chance to learn a level one room at a time.


Intruder and other Anomalies:

There are many issues here.
I regionize that alot of anomalies and intruders have not be found yet by streamers and other players.
Also still some anomalies seem not to be very clear in which category they go in.

I am constantly working on new scare effects and Intruders etc. but it seems that also
the random algorythm behind all that needs a change and that would be a kinda huge setback.

In the same time its still a mysterie to me how to solve some issues with the categories.
I would love to have changing categories, but even better if the player could choose which categories,

but then how to guarantee it stays spooky, scare or at least "not too boring".

Im trying to work a good solution but for now I will try to rebalance it from within.


Graphics & Sound

Im still working on Graphics and performance.
As it seems I cannot reduce the minimum required RAM of 4 gb.
I could already boost performance a little bit and i will also work on that in the future.
But optimisation is one of the last tasks on my list. It makes the most sense like that.


On style:

I´m still trying to find and generate a much more horror style.

The problem ist like this:
A typical horror game is not well lighted.
an Observation based game should be well lighted.
This paradox is hard to solve but also give a lot of opportunity.

On sounds:

Im still working on giving you the best sound excperience.
Some sounds will change. Some will be unpleasent by choice
Some will be pleasing.

Bugs:

I still working on Bugfixes alot.
But the new difficutly settings changed alot.
So of course i also build in a lot more bug for you to find :)

No to be honest. I didnt keep track in the last 2 months.
Alot of bugs are gone alot came along, please report to me :)
